Why do I see duplicate charges on my card?

You may notice transactions labeled as “Payment” alongside merchant charges (e.g., Intercom, Vercel, etc.), which can sometimes look like duplicate charges.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Merchant charge
  This is the actual transaction from the service you paid for from the merchant.

• “Payment” entry
  This represents how the transaction is settled from your card balance. You will see that the amounts and timestamps match.
