Why did my recipient creation and transaction fail with “Address is a PO Box”?

Error message:

Please resubmit the following parameters that are either missing or invalid {"address": "is a PO Box" }

Why this happens

Our provider currently do not support recipients with PO Box addresses.
If the address field contains a PO Box (e.g., “PO Box 123”), the recipient creation will fail.

This is due to compliance and banking requirements that does not allow PO Box addresses.


To resolve this:

  1. Go to your Address book.

  2. Delete the recipient that contains the PO Box.

  3. Re-create the recipient without the PO Box.
