Can I still use my cards if I'm on the Free Plan or if my card limit went down?

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Yes, your existing cards will continue to work, but there are some important limitations depending on your situation.

If you're on the Free Plan:

  • Existing cards remain active and can still be used for transactions

  • You cannot create new cards (Free Plan has a 0 card limit)

  • You cannot edit or replace existing cards

  • To create new cards or manage your cards, you'll need to upgrade to Plus or Pro

If you downgraded and exceeded your card limit:

For example, if you had 5 cards on Pro and downgraded to Plus (3 card limit):

  • All existing cards remain active and functional

  • You cannot create new cards until you're within your plan's limit

  • You can deactivate or delete cards to get back under your limit

  • Once within your limit, you can create new cards again

How to regain full card management:

Subscribe to a plan that fits your needs:

  • Plus Plan: Up to 3 cards

  • Pro Plan: Up to 10 cards

Go to Plans and Billing (see how to navigate there) to upgrade your plan.
